Manaos - Polo Pony

Descended from both the legendary Thoroughbred racehorse Northern Dancer and Polo Horse royalty, dark bay mare Manaos (#B-TR-10314) is a favorite among American polo champion Nic Roldan's string of horses. Roldan often rides her in his pre-game warm up and in the first or second chukker, or period, of a match. Many polo players, including Roldan, compete in Argentina, which has become world-famous for their polo ponies created by crossing sturdy, docile Argentine Criollo horses with swift, leggy Thoroughbreds.
